Default Stealth Trailers ??????

Just starting looking into enclosed trailers. Leaning towards a 7' wide by 29', all aluminum. Came across these Stealth trailers, anyone have any info, good or bad?

I live near a Stealth dealer, and have looked the Predator model over pretty close. Appear well made. Nice looking welds(a lot better than Featherlights). No rivets on skin. LED lights. Aluminum wheels. Nice looking door hardware. The three they have here now are 6 foot height, which leaves me out, as I want 6-6 inside, so I can stand up straight.

Interior looks finished off well.

No, I'm not a dealer, but in the market as well, I've looked a lot.

Looked at them while at Haydays last year. The skin is held on with 3M aviation adhesive (no rivets). Looking into one as well.

Better, same stuff is used on Jaguar cars to hold the body panels on. One of the 3M divisions that I support makes the stuff. Once it's curred, it requires high temp to loosen the bond. I think Poo is using the cheaper stuff from Mexico. That's where thier motorcycles are made now too.

Went to look at a brand new Stealth Predator 31 footer / triple axle / 6' 6" high. This trailer was a special order as they only advertise a 29 ft. trailer as their longest in the Predator series. The triple axle was also a special order along with "E" channel running on the inside as well and the extra 6 inches of height.

As far as axles, standard is 3500# torsion and you can upgrade to 5200#. When you go triple axle they automatically go three 3500# leaf spring axles. Still undecided on a triple axle or tandem???????

Nice trailer but you can tell in some places that it's a little cheaper but after all they are cheaper, so you have to expect it some where.

The fenders are a little lighter then the normal fenders but hot a huge deal. Aluminum 15" wheels are standard and actually look good.

Interior is finished out nice but the lower kick plate is wood instead of aluminum tread plate. The rest of the interior is the normal vinyl covered wood with white button head screws.

Standard stud spacing is 24 o.c. but you can order it 16 o.c.

Cabinets are nice but seem a little lighter weight then others, not a huge deal.

Outside was smooth and looked good with no waves. The finish work on the outside edges are just standard straight edged pieces of aluminum, nothing rounded or fancy here. Obviously another area in which to save some money.

Loading lights on the front and rear are standard and the running lights are all LED and look pretty good.

Wiring appeared to be ran on the outside of the frame rails in spots but was encased in wire loom. I assume another way to save some money again.

Door hardware isn't bad but standard is NOT corrosion resistant. You can upgrade to corrosion resistant though.

The new owner seemed really happy and has had it out west a few times with no issues.

All in all, it's actually a nice trailer, it's no Cadillac but for the money I think it would do the job just fine.
