I've been messing around with the Whatsapp application for smart phones and locally this has been a big hit. I did some research on shipping and what not and I think I've finally got it together.
Whatsapp is basically just a chat client on your cell phone for those who dont know. You can make groups and share pics and all kinds of stuff. Its pretty neat. I've got a few conversations started regarding the butcher shop. Right now I have a simple set up where people are added to my conversations and they can do anything from ask questions to order products that I can offer. So far its local and I haven't shipped a lot of stuff, more or less just a 'hey can you pick this up for me'. Well I think I am now ready and set up to go longer distances. I am looking for some volunteers to make a few trial runs. I will sell products at cost to start with just to make sure the shipping and charges all stay within my projections. If you are interested shoot me a PM with your cell number if you have whats app and I will add you to the conversation. Or if you have any questions about it let me know. Thanks for your time Brandon

What kind of products? Meat or seasonings or what? All ready use the milk man so this sounds interesting.

it would be....problem is advertising, and getting people to go about it that way.
I can beat all local prices with a higher quality product, just need some people to give it a shot....I've got a few people in MN order things every now and then and a guy from TX just dropped a healthy chunk of change....I'll have to get some reviews from these guys

Doc... over in ireland now.. i've never seen them for sale in my area.. so i will ask you.. have any true irish sausage to sell? They are links (little smaller than american brats), coarser ground, mild seasoning kinda like german sausage however are unsmoked, has some, but very little fennel seed, but is completly unlike a italian sausage. All of the pubs here sell it on mash taters with onion gravy.. fawk i'm gettin fat.. hahahaha

They are mid sheep gut casings. I stopped at butcher today and got a round about recipe for building some. Going to give it a world when I get back. There is a butcher shop in ever small town. And multiple ones in the mid and bigger towns

not all small town butcher shops have the advantages as we do.
If you're talking about haggis, I've made it a couple times and it worked out considerably well. Getting premium ingredients is tough though and thats what drives the price up. I can get genuine casings if you can get the the other ingredients...I can just get them shipped to you....might be able to get it off amazon too. never hurts to shop around
