Ive got a 99 F350 7.3 sb crew chipped with an EGT. Looking to do an exhaust mod (straight-pipe) & my Dads (RIP) 94 3500 Ram Dually reg cab 4x4 w/ a V10. Its got a sporatic miss thats either in the wires, plugs or coils that I am trying to track down. The Ram is my "hot rod" & the Ford does all the work, Trips with sleds & our gooseneck horse trailer. I got a turd taco.

Seriously. A 2005 TRD Tacoma, 4.0L with a six speed manual. Does okay pulling a 12' aluminum trailer, but I should have bought a full size. Same MPG and better to pull with.

Do yourself a favor and sell the Edge... look into a custom burned chip from DP Tuner, Power Hungry Performance, Swamp's Diesel, Total Diesel Performance, etc. The Edge stuff is notorious for burning up trannies in Power Strokes.

See now..Thats what Im talkin' about. I have NO clue what type of chip is in mine (where is it??) I smoked a torque converter at 100K & put in a fresh reman'ed Ford tranny (bro works at a dealer..saved me big $$) but sometimes that thing shifts hard on a light load. Under a heavy load it shifts out smooth. Where is that chip & how do I get at it. It runs like a raped ape but if I can tune it better, I want ideas. Thanks RMK.
