I have a pair of the HMK pro boas also. Rode 2/3 of a season with them and finally said screw this and went back to Klim Adrenalins. The HMK were more comfortable but they were torn to crap and leaked in less than a season. That being said HMK did warranty the boots and replace them no questions asked, but they sit in the trailer as a backup pair. The klims have kept me dry and I am not willing to switch back at this point.
I had a creek fall out from under me toward the end of the day in March. We spent until 2:30 in the morning getting the sled out and drug back to the trailer. Even standing in a creek for 4 hours my feet stayed dry and warm with the Klims. I would suggest no other boot to you.

I had no leaking with my Klim Adrenalins. My HMK Highmark 4 leaked everytime although I really liked the fit of their boot. HMK are my back ups for now.

Funny even though they leaked my feet NEVER got cold.

I use North Face boots I got 4yrs ago for $60 on sale. I've stood in a creek helping dig a sled out still had warm dry feet. I ended up buying a second pair on closeout even cheaper and use one pair on the farm standing outside at -20 for a few hours my feet were still plenty warm. They are light enough to drive with which is also the biggest downfall they are not very stiff.
