Both roads up to mid-station (concrete structure) at Brohm are clear (but rocky) Parking last weekend was at the first switchback past the mid-station. It will be at the 2nd switchback within the week. Groomers are sitting at 3rd switchback. Snow there is 2-3' deep. Up at the cabin it's 8' deep. The ridge has some rocks starting to poke through, so keep an eye out! Other than that, great riding and skiing. 4 sleds up there total. 2 were ours. Next week is the Solstice party, but that was my last sled ride of the season...

I heard 2.5km where exactly from? Prolly from the Capricorn Meager fork. I heard it flowed up meager quite a bit. Pics on the news showed the entrance booth with mud all around. RGM ya been there yet?

Kinda brings back memories of the 2003 rutherford bridge washout. I will never forget Oct.17, 2003. I was one of the last peeps over the old bridge. 10:30 pm on the way to Birkenhead Lake. By just after midnite it was gone. Took 3 days to fix the FSR just to get 20 people out of Birkenhead. That whole area is one of the most unstable around.

Cool link !! I think pics 3 and 4 are the bottom side of keyhole. Pretty cool area, I have trecked in past the Pumice camp over keyhole past where the old mine was. From the old mine area you can see a washed out bridge ,are you familiar with that one ?

I have not been to meager in over 10 years but I can remember the area vaguely. I really want to go ride there this winter tho. A bunch of guys on my ball team spend tons of time up there. Wonder what winter access will be like?

I guess we will eventually hear fro Ray or somone up there. If you look at the link you sent me you can see the Pumice camp and the Meager bridge, and just this side the slide is right up over the road. The last time I was up there it took me 2 hours to crawl that 32 km.I would also like to go up there in the winter.
